Patrick Clancy will sit down for his first television interview since a Massachusetts judge declared a mistrial in the murder case of his ex‑wife, Lindsay Clancy. The segment airs on CBS’ 60 Minutes on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. ET/PT; CBS News correspondent Ross Douthat will conduct the interview, and Patrick’s wife, Dr Rachel Danis, joins him for their first joint television appearance. CBS says the interview will explore Clancy’s memories of his children and what the network describes as “baseless conspiracy theories” that have circulated online. First television appearance since mistrial in Lindsay Clancy case
The interview comes weeks after a Massachusetts judge declared a mistrial in the high‑profile case on Sept. 4, after jurors couldn't reach a unanimous decision after seven days of deliberations. Lindsay Clancy did not dispute that she killed the couple’s three children — Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; and Callan, 8 months — in the family’s Duxbury, Massachusetts, home in January 2023. Her attorneys argued she was not criminally responsible because she was suffering from postpartum psychosis, while prosecutors said the killings were deliberate. She remains charged with murder as prosecutors weigh whether to pursue another trial.
